Russell White III is the owner and resident artist at OxBlood Ink. Born and raised in Maryland, Russell has been passionate about drawing for as long as he can remember. He began his tattoo apprenticeship in 2006 and spent the next eight years honing his craft in shops across Ellicott City and Laurel.
While he enjoys working in all styles, Russell specializes in color illustrative, new school, and Japanese-style tattooing—bold, dynamic work that blends technical skill with creativity. In 2014, he opened OxBlood Ink with the goal of creating a space focused on custom, high-quality tattoos and a welcoming client experience.
Today, Russell feels grateful to work alongside a talented crew and a growing community of clients. He’s excited to keep pushing the shop forward, building on a strong foundation to make every tattoo a lasting piece of art.
